2nd Chairman of Human Rights and Equality Institution of Türkiye (HREIT) Mesut Kınalı and the accompanying delegation made an unannounced visit to Muğla Type E Closed Penitentiary Institution within the scope of national preventive mechanism mandate.
The delegation among which were experts of the Institution, a psychologist and a doctor held interviews with persons deprived of their freedom within the scope of the visit.
Following the visits, a report in line with the findings of the inspection and the physical condition of the penitentiary will be prepared and shared with the relevant institutions.
