The HREIT delegation conducted an unannounced monitoring visit to  Diyarbakır Courthouse Prisoner Waiting Area part of its national preventive mechanism mandate on 25/9/2023. 
Treatment and accommodation conditions of the detainees were examined in the context of national and international standards.
As a result of the visit and interviews, a report containing the findings and recommendations will be prepared and shared with the relevant institutions and the public.
