As requested by the Human Rights Council resolution 48/3 entitled “Human Rights of Older Persons”, OHCHR has sought inputs from States, regional mechanisms, treaty bodies, national human rights institutions, relevant United Nations agencies and civil society organizations in the preparation of the Report on Normative Standards and Obligations Under International Law in Relation to the Protection and Promotion of Human Rights of Older Persons. Acting as the National Human Rights Institution of Türkiye, HREIT contributed to the preparation of the Report and our contribution has been shared on the official website of the OHCHR.
