The HREIT delegation conducted an unannounced visit to Denizli T Type Closed Penitentiary Institution as part of its national preventive mechanism mandate on July 5-6, 2023.

As part of the visit, treatment and accommodation conditions of the detainees were examined in the context of national and international standards.

As a result of the visit and interviews, a report containing the findings and recommendations will be prepared and shared with the relevant institutions and the public.
