HREIT delegation made an unannounced visit to Karaman Ahmet Mete Nursing Home, Elderly Care and Rehabilitation Center within the scope of national preventive mechanism mandate.
During the visit, the delegation first got information from the Institution officials. Afterwards, those under care and protection and employees in charge were interviewed and observations and inspections were made. Treatment and housing conditions of those under care and protection were evaluated in the context of national and international standards within the scope of the visit.
A visit report including findings and recommendations regarding the inspections and interviews conducted will be prepared and shared with the relevant institutions and the public.
