The Human Rights and Equality Institution of Türkiye participated in the meeting of the European Network of National Human Rights Institutions (ENNHRI) Working Group on the Human Rights of Older Persons, held in Berlin on September 17–18, 2026, and hosted by the German Institute for Human Rights. At the meeting, which brought together 30 participants representing 25 National Human Rights Institutions (NHRI) and where the role of NHRIs in strengthening the rights of older persons at the national, European, and international levels was discussed, a presentation was given to introduce the “Rights-Based Guide for Older Persons” prepared by our Institution.
