The United Nations (UN) General Assembly tasked with the preparation of the fundamental policies of the UN held a special session in order to bring up the solutions to the escalating humanitarian in Palestine once again. At the session, reminding that the State of Palestine is a party to many documents signed under the auspices of the UN and its membership in associations such as the League of Arab States, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Asia-Pacific Group of States and the Non-Aligned Movement, and the General Assembly emphasized that Palestine's effective participation in UN activities is essential.

Stating that there are no obstacles between the UN membership and the State of Palestine according to the provision "Membership in the United Nations is open to all other peace-loving states which accept the obligations contained in the present Charter and, in the judgment of the Organization, are able and willing to carry out these obligations" in the Article 4 of the UN Charter, therefore should be accepted as a member of the UN, the General Assembly emphasized that the Security Council should evaluate this issue positively. Palestine's membership status, which goes beyond the "observer" status and can only be addressed with the recommendation of the Security Council, is a critical step taken in terms of protecting the rights and freedoms of the Palestinian people.

In addition to this positive progress, it is essential to end Israel's systematic ongoing heavy and inhumane attacks against the Palestinian people, genocide, and crimes against humanity committed by its policies of displacing civilians should be ended immediately and to take the necessary steps to punish those responsible for these actions with international criminal sanctions, especially trial in the International Criminal Court.

Noting that the Palestinian people have the right to self-determination, we express our satisfaction, on behalf of our Institution and all humanity, with the resolution taken by the UN General Assembly in order to sustain the right to live in safe lands, in peace and tranquility, and to find a fair, permanent, and peaceful solution to the issue and hope that the Israeli occupation will end without delay.

Respectfully announced to the public.
