The HREIT Delegation conducted unannounced visit to Gelibolu Private Nursing Center as part of its National Preventive Mechanisim mandate on June 17, 2025.

During the visit, first a meeting was held with the institution officials. Then, observations and examinations were made in line with interviews held with the institution residents and the staff on duty. Within the scope of the visit, the treatment and accommodation conditions for those staying in the institution were examined in the context of national and international standards.

As a result of the visit and interviews, a report containing the findings and recommendations regarding the examinations will be prepared and shared with the relevant institutions and the public.
