“The European Union - Council of Europe Joint Project Closing Conference on Strengthening the Human Rights Protection of Migrants and Victims of Trafficking in Turkey” was held within the scope of the “Horizontal Support for the Western Balkans and Turkey (2019-2022)” in Ankara on 8 December 2022 program.

On behalf of our Institution, Vice President Alpaslan Öğüt and human rights and equality experts and assistant experts participated in the Conference, in which representatives of international organizations, public institutions and organizations, non-governmental organizations and academicians participated.

Human Rights and Equality Specialist Dr. Ertuğrul Yazar made a presentation titled "Alternative Measures to Administrative Oversight in the Context of Human Rights and TİHEK's Duties and Authorities" within the scope of "Panel on Alternatives to Administrative Surveillance in Combating Irregular Migration".

A presentation on "TİHEK's Opinions and Gains as a Project Beneficiary" was made by Celal Araz, Assistant Human Rights and Equality Expert, within the scope of the panel titled "Project Beneficiaries' Opinions - Migration Component & Human Trafficking Component".
