On 2-3 February 2023, an in-service training program was held for the staff of our institution. The program started with the presentation of Chairman Prof. Dr. Muharrem Kılıç on "Justification of Decisions on Fundamental Rights and Freedoms and Argumentation.”

In the second session of the program, Vice President of the Council of Forensic Medicine and Member of the European Committee for the Prevention of Torture and Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment (CPT) Exp. Dr. Omer H.A. Müslümanoğlu gave a presentation on  “The History of the İstanbul Protocol and the Significance of Documenting Torture and Ill-Treatment; Matters to be Considered in Interviews with the Victims of Torture or Ill-Treatment and “Physical and Psychological Evidence of Torture and Ill-Treatment”.

On the second day of the program, a presentation was provided on “The Standards of the European Committee for the Prevention of Torture and “Visiting and Reporting Process of the European Committee for the Prevention of Torture” by CPT Member Müslümanoğlu.
