HREIT Board Member Dilek Ertürk and the accompanying delegation conducted an unannounced monitoring visit to the detention facilities of Rize Provincial Gendarmerie Command as part of its national preventive mechanism mandate on 13/5/2025
During the visit, teatment and accommodation conditions of the detainees were examined in the context of national and international standards.
As a result of the visit, a report containing the findings and recommendations will be prepared and shared with the relevant institutions and the public.
