The HREIT Delegation, headed by the vice president Adnan KUM, conducted a follow-up visit to Şanlıurfa Removal Center as part of its National Preventive Mechanism mandate on May 12-13, 2025. During the visit, information was first obtained from the authory of the center. Afterwards the delegation made observations and examinations by interviewing those who are deprived of their liberties and the personnel in charge. As a result of visit and interviews, a report containing the findings and recommendations regarding the examinations will be prepared and shared with the relevant institutions and public.
