The Human Rights and Equality Institution of Türkiye delegation chaired by board member Atty. Selami Açan made an unannounced visit to the Özel İnsan Private Nursing Center on February 9, 2026, as part of its national preventive mechanism mandate.
During the visit, first a meeting was held with the institution officials. Then, observations and examinations were made in line with interviews held with the institution residents and the staff on duty. Within the scope of the visit, the treatment and accommodation conditions for those staying in the institution were examined in the context of national and international standards.
As a result of the visit and interviews, a report containing the findings and recommendations regarding the examinations will be prepared and shared with the relevant institutions and the public.
