The Human Rights and Equality Institution of Türkiye delegation chaired by board member atty. Melahat Demir made an unannounced visit to the Ulus Private Nursing Center on 8/10/2025 within the scope of the national preventive mechanism mandate.

During the visit, first a meeting was held with the institution officials. Then, observations and examinations were made in line with interviews held with the institution residents and the staff on duty . Within the scope of the visit, the treatment and accommodation conditions for those staying in the institution were examined in the context of national and international standards.

As a result of the visit and interviews, a report containing the findings and recommendations regarding the examinations will be prepared and shared with the relevant institutions and the public.
